raw
foods & vegetarian restaurants in las vegas
Conscientious eating can be a challenge
in a city of decadence! Although Las Vegas has a plethora of marvelous
restaurants, there are very few places that are exclusively vegetarian.
However, even in a carnivorous city of rich gourmet restaurants and attractions,
there are many places, which offer a wide selection of vegetarian and
Vegan dishes for your dietary needs. If you take a global approach to
dining, you'll find that variety is literally the spice of life for Vegetarian
eating in Vegas.

raw truth cafe
2381 E. Windmill (in Smith's Plaza) (on the corner of Eastern and Windmill)

Vegan, Raw
The name of this vegetarian café refers to the fact that nothing
is cooked at temperatures any higher than the 100-plus degrees it takes
to make flat breads and pizza dough. And yet, reasonable facsimiles of
pizza (made of dehydrated sprouted bread and fermented almond cheese)
and lasagna take their place alongside the expected salad choices.

The
human body, at peace with itself, is more precious then the rarest gem.
Cherish your body, it is yours this one time only. The human form is
won with great difficulty, it is easy to lose. All worldly things are
brief, like lightning in the sky; This life you must know as the tiny
splash of a raindrop; A thing of beauty that disappears even as it comes
into being. Therefore set your goal, make use of every day and night
to achieve it. ~ Tsong Khapa ~
